This French film poorly dubbed in English crawls, it's slow, real slow and it has just enough nudity for you to say ... ok 5 more minutes, but it wasn't that many and they weren't that good.

OK a guys sees a girl get shot, actually she shots herself in some sort of suicide cult, weird guys wearing chicken mask and long ropes lay her out. why the chick mask, I don't know. There is very little dialog in this film, probably just as well. If they spoke it'd make less sense than it did. so next his suicidal number is up and he's not game, runs off to find his father to report the goings on to the police, dad wanted nothing to do with these folks telling him not to meddle in others business. Well low and behold no wonder, seem Dad heads up the cult ... what are the odd, well what are they in a cheap shot straight to Super 8 movie.
So dad sells it all and move out to the country to continue his cult that has some to do with a girl that drinks blood ... ooo scary. He feels it his job to protect her, because she can't handle sunlight and drinks blood, like a vampire, but she's not a vampire ... in fact I don't think there ever was a vampire at all.
Honestly this movie was so slow I had trouble paying attention to it, so if you feel the need for abuse watch this film. The plot was weak, the dialog was written on the back of a bar napkin and the acting was straight out of community theater.
Clearly the film was trying to be hip, Avant-garde, very stylized and experimental and it just didn't work. Strange outfits and long periods of time without a word, quite a bit of two bit imagery and corny sets. So if you are a student of film making, I'd advise you to watch this film, pay close attention and take a lot of notes, then take the notes and burn them with the DVD.
but it had it's comedic moments ...
At the 59 min mark watch for the dead girl to very carefully roll down the stair case.
Listen to that gun fire, so realistic. :lookingup:
There are others, but nothing worth suffering threw the movie for.
I guess it could have been worse, it could have had no nudity at all.

Just as I thought, a Jean Rollin movie. He made PLENTY more like these, and is in many ways France's answer to Jess Franco.
