I was pretty disappointed with WRESTLEMANIAC last weekend. It's wasn't awful, but it just didn't live up to its billing. Yesterday I walked into the video store and saw a horror title from Lions Gate Films called KNOCK KNOCK. Never had seen a preview for it, but decided to take a chance on it anyway.
I'm glad I did.
It's a slasher flick and makes no bones about it, but it's pretty doggone good. The violence is creative and fairly realistic; the teenagers are less annoying than Freddy fodder usually are, there is one fairly long boobie moment, the "jump" moments are pretty cool, and the cops are less idiotic than is typical.
In short, this was a fun movie, every bit as enjoyable as HATCHET. I got the Unrated Version, and I highly recommend it. Anyone else seen it?
[Secretly, the Burgomaster added KNOCK KNOCK to his potential purchases list . . . ]

Who's there?
Neighbour, I need some sugar.
OK, I'll bite, "Neighbour, I need some sugar. who?
It doesn't go on after "Neighbour, I need some sugar", that's the joke :teddyr:
is this an old 70's or early 80s film? I like that era for slashers best. seem to fall asleep through 90's/2000's slasher flicks
No, this is a newer one, but like HATCHET it is a homage to the golden age slasher flicks of the 80's.
