Seriously though, is that turtle's bottom shell missing? Is that normal did something happen to the poor guy?

I don't think there's anyhing missing, I think the bottom of that species just has an very light colored bottom. I don't thing turtles can luve with their shell missing, but I could be wrong.

If I'm correct that's a species of soft shelled turtles-so yes it supposed to look that way.
A turtle's shell is it's backbone and ribcage, so no, one cant live with the shell missing.
