At long last, he realized that all his and her family members screaming HE WENT TO JARED!!!!! did not sound anywhere near as bad as them screaming HE WENT TO WAL-MART!!!!!
Well apparently the Subway gig paid off for the guy.
Dollar General's most innovative sales scheme yet.

That's the closest any women I'm with will ever get to a jewelry ('jury' if she's from inner city) store.
Yeah her fiance went to Jared's. There he is in that parked car with the waitress he just picked up from Hooters.
Don't laugh. You can pick up a giant family-sized box of authentic imitation diamonds for $14.99 there. I'd like to see Tiffany's top that.
Once you've got kids, you'll be blowin' through the price of an engagement ring evey few months, so don't worry about it!

Quite right. It's just not as noticeable, being spread out. My wife and I usually just go around wondering why we always seem to be out of money, then we buy $150 worth of groceries, pay the sitter $500 and put $100 worth of gas in the car, all in the space of an hour and a half, and it briefly becomes clear.
And I always thought my dad was just cheap. Well, he is, but he used to have a good reason.
I was fortunate to buy my wife's engagement ring and our wedding rings at a little downtown jewellery shop, when the owners were preparing to retire. Incredible deals. We're talking 40% off.
Come to think of it, my wife's diamond ring cost substantially less than a week's supply of groceries, a month of babysitting and a tank of gas cost us today.
JARED . . . wasn't that the name of a movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Foxx?

One of the great debates visiting Madison. The Apple Store or Jared?
He went to Jared....and hasn't been seen since.
Jared, fed up with the Subway diet, turned to eating diamonds to lose weight.
He went to Jared
Lookin' for answers
To questions that bothered him so.
He did go to Jareds, and then proceded to JC Penny's after seeing the prices.

And after that then on to Target, then on to K-Mart, and right on down the line....

A Jimmy Buffet post. Cool!
(Ahem)...
Where Cubic Zirconium is king
He went to Jared, because his fiancee was a shrill, materialistic gold digger. (Sorry I just can't stand their radio commercials.)

He should have gone to Dollar General first. Where no diamond costs over a dollar. Of course, you do need a magnifying glass to see it, but . . . ?
