Get some vanilla ice cream, , the cheap stuff seems to work the best. Microwave a coffee cup full or so until it's HOT, and put it in a regular sized blender. Put about one scoop full of frozen concentrated orange juice, a little more doesn't hurt. Fill the blender the rest of the way up with the vanilla ice cream. Blend until it's of milkshake-consistency and mixed well (this will take FOREVER if you don't nuke some to get the whole process started). Anyways, when it's a s thick as you want it, drink it. I've not tried this with any alcohol, YMMV.
So it's like an Orange Creamsicle shake? Is that what it tastes like?
We make them at my job. Good stuff. It tastes just like the orange creamsicle popsicles you'd buy at the store.
We have about 60 flavors.
I believe it does, , but it's been so long since I've had an honest orange creamsicle, I really don't know. BTW, they came out HORRIBLE when we tried Grapefruit, , or maybe it was pineapple. .
I haven't tried nuking some ice cream beforehand. I usually just mix some milk in to speed things up.

I'll have to try that now. I don't like Grapefruit in general, but I wouldn't mind Pineapple.
You should try some peanut butter and oreo's. It'd be a peanut butter oreo shake. Not too bad.
I MUST do this. Ill let you know what i think when i do!
Hmmm.
I do milkshakes right in the glass with ice cream and milk.
Scoop in a bunch of ice cream into a glass, add some milk, stir with a spoon.
This way, it comes out thick - you can't 'drink' this one with a straw. But, it's simple and I don't dirty up more things than what are needed (no blender needed).
Hadn't thought of using frozen fruit juices; we'll have to try that out.
On microwaving ice cream: I used to do that all time to 'simulate' soft-serve with regular ice cream. Nuke it for a few seconds and eat. So, that part of your recipe does not sound all that foreign. :)
too complicated what are you a f**king scientist
i was just kidding. nevermind

Not really related, technically, but hell, it's a good song. Not really.

Good scene. I love Steve Buscemi as "Buddy Holly." Nobody knows it's Buscemi. In fact, my restaurant has shakes for damn near 5 bucks too. Shame.
