Title: Strange TV Memory
Post by: JJ80 on September 02, 2008, 03:35:27 PM
Just for once this isn't an obscure animated short. I once caught the very end of some sort of either TV movie or 'Special' which featured two men, one youngish and black, the other older and white sitting in an (obviously studiobound) car seemingly having escaped from a spooky situation of some type. The black guy seemed nervous saying something like the situation "Smelled like fish!". The show ended abruptly with the men seeing a policeman (definitely in an American uniform) by the roadside. Their relief immediately evaporated when he turned round to show his face which was zombie like and purplish in colour.
I don't think this was actually a straight horror show as it was definitely shown before 9 o'clock (U.K Watershed). I remember this because the BBC 9 o'clock news came on immediately afterwards. This would have been in the mid to late eighties.

Thanks for your attention!

It's not Maniac Cop 1 or 2.  I've never seen 3, so that might be it.

It's not Maniac Cop 1,2 or 3. Anyway if it were on the BBC, there's no way in Hell it would've been shown before 9pm.

It's definitley not a "Maniac Cop" move, Circus is right in that the BBC would never show that kind of film before nine pm. The zombie cop didn't appear to be a major character, merely a final 'jump' scare. Thanks for your attention anyway.
