This is a pic taken of me in June when we honoured our film pioneers in Bloemfontein ~ a photographer sent it to me and it is a rare thing for me to smile when a picture is taken.
I think I should submit it for my next passport photo.
Either that, or I should chuck darts at it: what do you think? :teddyr:
Much better, but are you allowed to smile on passports photos nowadays?

I don't think so, circus. I think the unwritten law of passport photos (and I do have to renew mine soon) is that
you must look like you need a holiday in order to use the passport. :teddyr: :teddyr:
I hate posing for pictures because I don't think I'm particularly photogenic and I feel uncomfortable smiling on queue. This apprehension is probably why the pictures turn out bad.
You can check out my horrible work pic here (the gray hair is only prominent due to it's short length): http://personnel.uaex.edu/images/ERWIN.EDWIN.917.1.JPG
Good looking pic there Trevor, you definitely look more laid back.

Thanks, Cap'n Trek: your picture is nice too, but your avatar cracks me up. :bouncegiggle: :teddyr: What is our beloved J. T. Kirk doing there? :teddyr:

Your smiling! And your face didn't shatter and your ears didn't fall off! Good deal!
Sadly...I find little to smile about latley....but it happens occasionally....

Whoa, , I didn't think that picture really was YOU, , I though it was capped from some cheesy b-horror flick, probably something RC likes. :bouncegiggle:
Anyways, , let the photoshopping begin!
Is this guy related? :tongueout:

I'm guessing your underpants must have just arrived when the pic was taken. :teddyr:

That picture is from the James T. Kirk Macarena Page (http://www.wednesdayweb.com/kirk/) If you think one is funny, wait until you see multiples doing it.
Thanks for the cool poster Circus_Circus

I rarely smile myself. I didn't smile for my drivers license nor did I smile for my passport. The only thing rarer than me smiling in a picture or smiling in general is going on a date but that is a different story.

I'm also terrible in pictures, my camera smile always looks fake so my picture faces are basically: jerk, retard, that dumb kid who thought it it would be funny to make a face like a jacka$$
Trevor, wearing a smile makes people:
A) wonder what you've been doing
B) if they're guys, worry that their fly is open, or if they're girls, worry that their undies or something else inappropriate may be in public view
C) think you're just a happy guy who's having a good day
D) think you're some kind of wacko idiot who doesn't realize he's having a bad day
I tend to smile a lot, and when asked what I'm smiling about I quote Arthur "Sometimes I just think funny thoughts." (Some people are not amused by this, too bad for them)
The bottom line on this is that I think you look good with a smile on your face my friend.

That's a cool poster. Pity they couldn't have found a print of
Sole Survivor to screen as well.

The smile looks good on you, Trevor; I'd keep it if I were you. As for looking better as you get older, I think a lot of it comes from being comfortable with yourself--that confidence shows. I'm not a particularly pretty man, but as I have aged and become more comfortable in my skin (and that's a lot more skin than I used to have :buggedout: :bouncegiggle:), I actually find that women flirt with me quite a bit now. I'm married and would never cheat on my wife, but the flirting is flattering. Either that, or, like Elvis in
Bubba Ho-Tep, I'm so unthreatening now that women think it's funny to flirt with the old fart. I like the confidence=attractive idea better, though, so I'll stick with it for now. :tongueout:
I think you still need to work on your smile a little bit...
