Right, I was watching my DVD of Friday 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan and early on in the film when the kids are on the boat, we are introduced to J.J. Jarrett (played by the gorgeous Saffron Henderson). She goes below deck to rock out and sadly meets her end. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS SONG IS?;

I've checked the credits and song list but I still don't know what it is :question:
I've listened to a few tracks, but there's others I can't get hold of.
Accrding to the imdb....it seems to be an original number by Fred Mollin.

thanks RC, I can't be sure tho', I think that's the order listed in which you hear them. On the actual soundtracks for 7&8 it's just the film score. I'm guessing Terry Crawford is the girl singing if that's the case. :thumbup:
Yu might have looked here but this is a list of music according to IMDB. Sometimes they have stuff that isn't in the credits. Unfortunatly, the song doesn't play long enough to here the title.

It's not "Darkest side of the night" (I've got that), that's from the credits. It's not "New York, New York" obviously. It's not "Tamara's Bio Project", "Strike" or "Living In The City". :question:
It's gonna be either "JJ's Blues", "Stalker's Rocker", "Say This To Me" or "Broken Dream".
I've tried to get those songs and i can't anywhere :hatred:
It's "Broken Dream" by Terry Crawford! Now if I can just find it!
Thanks guys! :thumbup:

Nope. I never will either, I'm afraid. Apparently what you hear in the scene is all that was recorded. It's not a full track. :bluesad:

There's a recording I remember of a piece of piano music, used only on the weekends in the 1970s by a New York TV station, probably ABC, I can still hear it in my head I heard it so often, but never often enough, I'd just stumble across it, for years, but that was long, long ago. Yet, now, I have never been able to identify the piece of music or find a recording of it. :bluesad:
