First off let me say, I love Youtube. Matter of fact I darn near worship the site. I find it awesome I can pull up anything from music videos to classic wrestling matches in seconds.
However, I'm finding reasons why not to like it. Maybe you can list a few as well.
1.) People who do awful music montages of scenes from movies that you'd find more entertaining without the excess noise.
2.) Awful reediting of scenes from movies you'd find more entertaining without all the looping hack job of an edit.

I like youtube, which is a wonder, but I don't like how the regular users clutter the site up with true junk, their own p**s-poor performances, stupid unfunny parodies, homages or tributes. There is a goldmine over there, but sometimes you have to really dig to find what's really worthwhile.

Yeah, kind of like the plethora of people doing "Peanut Butter Jelly Time". One or two are funny. The million or so others don't seem to be.

When people add music to film clips.
When I look for a clip, I want the actual authentic scene.
I do not want to watch that clip with Lil Wayne or Jay-Z playing in the background.
When I watch footage from the latest video game, I do not want to hear death metal music. I want to see and hear the game as it should be.
When someone puts up a good video and a bunch of people get the file for it and puts up the EXACT SAME VIDEO!!!
When people become crazily upset over videos and other peoples comments.
I almost never look at comments unless I want to become annoyed.
I also agree with all the people who said it stinks when people put up annoying music.
My #1 complaint: Lack or nudity. . . 'nuff said...
- When I go looking for movie trailers and have to sift through everybody's homemade trailers, most of which are labeled as though they are the real thing.
- When I go looking for music videos and have to sift through everybody's homemade videos, most of which are labeled as though they are the real thing. That includes clip after clip of people performing the songs themselves, often badly.
- When homemade music videos are nothing but a still image over an mp3 file.
- When short movie scenes are posted with too much of the movie left around them. Takes five minutes to get to the actual scene.
- When the same scenes are edited too tightly, so you get the most important ten seconds and no context.
When everybody tells me about the too-cool stuff I have to see...
...and I have dial-up.

Oh, it's there, just not where you think it would be!
YouTube is 99% copyright infringement. The 1% left over is 99% garbage. The 1% left from that is pretty good, the problem is you have to wade through more sewage than when you escape Shawshank to find anything good. These guys are my favorite because they go after the bad: http://www.youtube.com/user/retsupurae

There are the people who make their little Youtube movies and give them titles that are the same as actual movies (And it's usually painful to sit through even 30 seconds of them), so when you search for a movie trailer, you usually get 4 or 5 of them mixed in with the results you're interested in. And with some of the zero budget movies out there in direct to video land these days, sometimes it's hard to tell which is the actual movie and which is somebody's Youtube project.

That's a pretty catchy song.
I upset, by Youtube's lack of copyrighted material on the site. I used to remember to watch videos of people playing games on MAME but now they are not there as much it saddened me greatly.
Every single clip has some morons having a petty little arguement under it and I see so many random racist comments it's unbelieveable! :bluesad:
