I have mixed feelings about Oliver Stone and his films through the years. Sticking just to his Presidential "bios" I though JFK sucked, and while it wasn't all that good Nixon was a sympathetic treatment of a man the younger Stone might have unrepentantly skewered. I haven't seen W and don't know if I will before it comes out on DVD, but word of mouth has it that Stone has once again been kinder to a public figure than many might've expected. It interests me but ten bucks spent on a ticket is ten bucks I could be spending elsewhere. Anyone else seen W? Should I rush out or wait for the DVD?
Danke.
No, but one of the local papers, and this is a paper who twice endorsed George W. Bush, when he ran for president, and even before that, had twice endorsed him, when he ran for governor of Texas, had an article in the paper that said, that it was a fairly accurate portrayal of George W. Bush's life and career, even though some of the events portrayed in the film has been dramatized for film purposes.

Not worth 10 bucks. It was OK. Probably worth seeing on DVD. It definitely painted him as more sincere and more "take charge" then I imagine him being. There were a few scenes when he was yelling and lecturing his cabinet and Cheney. The actors all did a darn good job except for the one playing Condi (although, maybe that's how Condi is), so it's worth seeing on DVD just for that.
I think that the real W is far stupid that the version of Oliver Stone, but it's a ok movie

Given your atrocious grammar (three major errors in one short sentence), you'll forgive me if I don't take you seriously as a judge of presidential intellect.

I think that Bush is going to be remembered as a good president who was unfairly despised. Seriously, most of the things we blame him for we supported at the time.

I counted four.
Let's see . . . no modifier for the adjective "stupid"
"that" instead of "than"
"a OK movie" instead of "an OK movie" . . .
what did I miss?
Oh, I see . . . no ending punctuation!
I stand corrected by the grammar police!
