Ready guys?
I was looking around at some electronics equipment in a search for boomboxes and micro systems which also had mp3 support. Of course, in the search, mp3 players came up as well.
I noticed one mp3 player that was substantially lower in price compared to others of the same model, with the only difference being that it was pink.
Hmmm...I wondered...about Pam Grier and Jayne Kennedy in an oil wrestling match....
...uhh
I mean...I wondered how many guys would bypass a potential savings, of say 40%, if the item was pink in color.
Perhaps...lime green?
Purple passion?
At what point would you give in to savings, or just say no, to something because of the item's color?
Would you have a pink jogging suit or bicycle if you got it at a 50% discount?

As far as the bicycle goes, sure cause thats where you can exercise the wonderous uses of spray paint...

Hope all is well with you, RC.
I don't imagine the colour would be the biggest problem with a pink bike. Most of the ones I see are also small, built on a girls' frame, and come equipped with streamers on the grips, flower decals and a basket with a picture of either Barbie or Dora the Explorer on the front. In that case, I'd pass on the savings.
Actually, gender associations aside, I don't really like the colour pink on most things. I even try to avoid buying an excess of pink stuff for my little girl, which ain't easy.
It ain't pink, it's salmon or watermelon but DEFINITELY NOT PINK!
Pink is in these days with the young indie crowd.
I also have to admit I'm a little dissappointed that the subject of this thread didn't live up to it's name, though I shouldn't have expected anything more really.
Still, the hurt lingers...

How'd you find out what my bike looks like?!
One of these days I hope to step up to a My Little Pony one.

The mental image of you (after watching some of your video clips) on a bike like that has just made my day :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :twirl: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:
