RC and his wife have been in my thoughts for a long while now ever since he said a few weeks back that Tara-Sue was in a nursing home.
My thoughts and prayers are with them: does anyone know how the two of them are?
I don't know, I hope they are both okay. Was RC on yesterday?
I think I will message him.
(He hasn't been active since the 28th of October, I didn't realise. It didn't seem like it)
I've been thinking of them as well. My best wishes to the both of them.
I really hope we hear from him soon. It not like him to disappear for a few days. :bluesad:
Well he also said his computer was doing bad, hopefully it's at most just that :bluesad:
My thoughts are with RC, Tara Sue, and the kids.
Oh dear. :bluesad:
Does anyone perhaps have RC's email address?
They're in my thoughts.
Ouch. I'll keep them in my thoughts and my fingers crossed.
I just emailed him. I think that Ash also has RC's phone number.

I spoke to him on the phone for about an hour a couple weeks ago.
He was doing ok. Well, as ok as can be because of the situation he's in.
I debated whether or not to post this because it is RC's personal business, but I feel that he would probably tell you all the same things and wouldn't be angry with me for telling you.
His (common law) wife Tara Sue is near death. She's in a nursing home and has lost many of her regular bodily functions. She's basically shutting down.
Remember how he did 30 days in jail for drinking earlier this year?
Well, that cost him his children. The state took them and put them in foster care.
All he's gotta do is wait until January and he gets them back.
On top of that, Tara Sue is no longer working and RC can't afford the mortgage payments on their old farmhouse on his own. So he's going to be losing his house soon.
He told me that he hoped to get a two bedroom apartment for him and his kids soon.
So to sum it all up, just about every f***ed up thing that could happen to him has happened.
He told me that he's taking it in stride and trying to be as upbeat about it as possible.
If I hear anything more from him, I'll be sure to let you all know.
I wish him the best. My thoughts are with him.
That's too bad. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.
This is serious stuff. RC and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Mine as well. Terrible when all that stuff happens to a really nice guy like RC.
:bluesad:
Friends of ours are currently in the process of losing their father from cancer. He has, at best, 2 months left. It's particularly bad when they're relatively young and my friend is taking it pretty hard as one would expect...
:bluesad:
All the best RC from all of us...
You're in my thoughts, Ronnie, Tara and the kids..... warm hugs to all of you from the warm heart of South Africa. :bluesad:
Oh wow. I hadn't realized things were that bad. My condolences to the family.
I'm very sorry to hear about RC's woes. Everything seems to have gone hellishly wrong at the very same moment.
Damn.
Much of what Ash has advised Ron himself has posted at various times in this forum. Ron and I used to talk before I switched jobs and lost my 800 number, but he's kept me advised about his many troubles. I do have his street address... if anyone would like it, pm me.
Hang in there, BELA, we're all thinking about you and Tara Sue.
I'm very sorry to hear of RC's plight, I shall keep him in my thoughts and prayers. I know things have been difficult in Michigan. It seems when it rains it pours. Best of luck Ronnie I wish you nothing but the best.
I talked to RC last night on the phone. Woke him up, actually. I could tell when he answered the phone.
He's doing ok.
Tara Sue is still alive in a nursing home. He told me that the doctors say she has less than 6 months.
He hasn't been on here because he got behind in his payments and his internet was shut off. I asked him ho much he owed and he said about $100.
I can understand that. In this difficult time in his life, he's got a lot of bills to pay. And many of them are more important than internet access.
If you speak to him again, tell him that we're all pulling for him, for what it's worth.

Same here ~ I really wish there was some way I could assist him financially. :bluesad:
