As we all recover from a historic election and embark on a new administration. Let us not forget the Marines (my brothers) have a upcoming birthday, and that we here in the US have Veterans Day coming up too. So I'd like to thank all of my fellow Veterans and fellow Marines well on these two days and everyday. And I'd like to wish my brother (real one) a safe trip back to Iraq.
To so all Marines and all Veterans and everyone a little Music for the moment.
Happy Birthday Marines and Thank You Veterans!

My cousin just recently returned from a tour of Iraq, and whilst he is not a marine [or American] I know he'd wish the Marines all the best too.
Happy birthday marines and thankyou veterans on behalf of the UK
Thank you Marines and to all those who have served
Happy birthday to my brothers and sisters in arms, may you stay safe on the 233rd birthday of our Corps. Semper Fidelis.
This is an excerpt from the birthday message by General Conway, Commandant of the Marine Corps:
Quote
ON OUR 233RD BIRTHDAY, FIRST REMEMBER THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED AND
THOSE "ANGELS" WHO HAVE FALLEN - OUR REPUTATION WAS BUILT ON THEIR
SACRIFICES. REMEMBER OUR FAMILIES; THEY ARE THE UNSUNG HEROES WHOSE
SUPPORT AND DEDICATION ALLOW US TO ANSWER OUR NATION'S CALL.
FINALLY, TO ALL MARINES AND SAILORS, KNOW THAT I AM PROUD OF YOU AND
WHAT YOU DO. YOUR SUCCESSES ON THE BATTLEFIELD HAVE ONLY ADDED TO
OUR ILLUSTRIOUS HISTORY. GENERAL VICTOR H. "BRUTE" KRULAK SAID IT
BEST WHEN HE WROTE, "... THE UNITED STATES DOES NOT NEED A MARINE
CORPS ... THE UNITED STATES WANTS A MARINE CORPS." YOUR ACTIONS, IN
IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN, AND ACROSS THE GLOBE, ARE AT THE CORE OF WHY
AMERICA LOVES HER MARINES.
I like to add to to this , thank you to all that have served!
Happy 233rd birthday to the Marine Corps and all the men and women who serve in the Corps.
233 years old? Nahh, that's still a young regiment.
