My childhood was ruined in the late 90's when Mathew Broadrick destroyed bith Godzilla and Inspector Gadget.

I think mine was ruined when I was watching "Land Of The Lost" one morning and suddenly thought, "What the hell is wrong with me?  This is stupid."  Nothing was ever the same after that.
