Anyone ever witnessed this horrific film from 1991? Look into it. It is one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen.
Yes, a member posted a still in a guess the film-picture game. This led to my curiosity and to watching the whole thing on Youtube. It is a really bizzarre piece of filmaking, but I didn't really find it disturbing. I can easily see how some people would be freaked out by it, especially the first scene IMO. That scene, god committing suicide, is my favourite, I love it. The begotten is very expensive to buy on either VHS or DVD, when I've looked, prices have started at least $50.
I thought it was interesting because of the visual style for 5 or 10 minutes, then became insufferable. Would have made a great short.
Yes, 78 minutes is a little long. The gut cutting is probably the worst thing for me as well. Just made me feel very strange.
I agree that it would have been a good short. Too bad it was almost 80 minutes.
