Driving to ol' Virginny tomorrow to gobble up some Thanksgiving dinner. Just wanted to give my best wishes to all!

I hope that everyone here and around the nation has a great Thanksgiving this year. It seems that my entire family is fighting this year and I'm caught in the middle but hopefully everything will straighten out by Thursday. Ahh the holidays!!!

Happy Thanksgiving, may your bellies be full, your noses warm, and your chestnuts held safely close at hand by those you love. . .
Or at least held lovingly by the one you're with until you can get the chimeny unclogged so you can start a fire to roast them like you planned.
I'm actually working the holiday but am looking forward to skipping out of another inlaw meeting. :teddyr: That and I get a free meal out of it. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Be sure to watch Blood Freak!
A happy Thanksgiving to all!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
We're having dinner at my sister's house, and she bought even more food yesterday because her oldest son and husband were worried they didn't have enough. I did the math and here is what each person now needs to eat:
2 lbs of turkey
1 1/2 lbs of sweet potatoes
2 lbs of mashed potatoes
.1 cubic feet of stuffing
1/2 can of corn
1/2 can of cranberry sauce
3.2 rolls
1/4 of a pie

And here is a crude analysis of Andrew:
25% Marine
25% Rabid Movie Fan
25% Girl of KYGOTC's Dreams
25% Geek with a Slide Rule
100% Hillbilly
Don't worry; it adds up to Andrew. :tongueout:
(how many other people do you know who would estimate what everyone is eating?)
Me? Well, just me and a few things to pop in the microwave and call it Thanksgiving dinner.
Happy Thanksgiving to all, even to the cynical mean ol' Menard thingy.
Best Thanksgiving wishes to all my BMF Buddies!!!!
Go Cowboys!

Happy Thanksgiving to all Americans... no idea when you Canadians celebrate, and the rest of the world can just carry on as normal.
I'm heading off very soon to prepare my side dish... pearl onions in heavy cream sauce with bacon... I decided I needed to cook a vegetable to offset all those unhealthy fats and excessive carbs...
Happy Thanksgiving - even to you heathen foreigners!

.1 cubic feet of stuffing
That is a pile of stuffing which packed into a cube, would measure 5.7 inches on each side, for a total of 172.8 cubic inches. There are sports cars who's motors displacement is less than that. I will truly be impressed if you can pull off the list as you described it.
Happy Consumption Day folks! Whether you're eating turkey, turducken, tofurkey, or whatever fowl or faux-fowl centric dish on your table, may your stomachs swell with greatness until your belts need unbuckling and you pop no less than two buttons before dessert. :teddyr:
And while you're digesting, we put together a little holiday roundtable, so check out our contributions at The Tomb of Anubis (http://www.tombofanubis.com) for some Turkey Day entertainment.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
I just got back from my dad's place and ate two gigantic platefuls of turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and sliced ham.
They had stuffing, cranberry junk and pumpkin pie, but I don't care for any of that.
(yes, really...I do not like pumpkin pie)
Now I think I'll go sit on the toilet for an hour. I just checked...yep, I've got plenty of TP! :teddyr:
