I saw a film made in the 90,s. It is a sort of goldrush town, very harsh snowy conditions. A dark haired man with beard runs town with a rod of iron and makes the law, giving out harsh punishment. A young man is sent to the town, he is an engineer or something. He is put up
in a hotel or a tent ( i can't remember only that everyone looked frozen ) with the town hookers. He falls for one who is also loved by the town owner who has the town church moved a couple of hundred yards to marry her in.
Can anyone put me out of my misery please.
Sounds familiar but I can't remember it's title either. If it's the western I'm thinking of the "young man" went on to become a semi-famous actor.
