Good to see you back in the proverbial saddle again Sir. Why not sit and stay awhile?

Yeah, well you tell that dead beat he owes me a jar of manzanilla olives and a
Hudson Hawk DVD by the end of the year or I'll turning his teeth into a necklace for New Years. :hatred:
Uhm, just make sure you write "THIS GUY" on his forehead with a Sharpie marker the night before and don't let him near any mirrors before I get there... heh. :tongueout:

I've got a VHS of that film I can let you have if you want it. :teddyr:
Thanks Trevor, but I bought a whole pallet of the damn things when my local FYE went out of business. This isn't about the movie, it's the principle of the thing. I get ripped off by good/bad Siamese twins more frequently lately and somebody has to be an example of.

RC's not been on since the 21st of December. Hope he's okay :bluesad:
I have no idea who you are...but everyone else loves you, therefore...
You must be kinda cool !
I spoke to RC last night.
He hasn't been on because he had to move out of his house and into a 2 bedroom apartment across town.
He said it took almost 2 weeks for the phone company to hook up his phone. And since he uses a DSL connection, there was no way he could get online without a working phone line.
His phone is back on, but now he's waiting for Verizon to hook his internet back up.
He said that he'd be back on here by this coming Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks for the update, Ash.
Thanks Ash ~ did RC perhaps say anything about Tara-Sue and how she is now? She's been on my mind a lot lately, as RC has been.

I debated for a long time whether to tell you guys this because it's RC's personal business. But if I didn't tell you, he would. And I don't think he'd have a problem with me telling you.
Tara Sue passed away on Christmas Eve. :bluesad:

I'm so sorry, RC.
We'll be here when you are able to join us again.
I wish I could say something more, but I lack the words for it at this moment.
Take care, buddy.
Ever since a few days before Christmas, when RC posted about Tara Sue's condition, when I have listened to this particular song, which is a favorite of mine, I can't help but think of RC and Tara Sue; maybe, like, this would have been something RC would have dedicated to Tara Sue.
It's a love song, but some parts of it seem appropriate for saying goodbye to someone.
May RC and Tara Sue be in all our thoughts, and our hearts.
Goodbye, Tara Sue. I didn't know you, but your RC is a great guy; you must have been great lady.

I'm going to go and let my inner Andrew out now.

Tara Sue passed away on Christmas Eve.
I was worried that might have been the reason RC had not visited.
RC, I have missed your company. Here's to you and your wife. You often wear your heart on your sleeve, and I bet that is a reason she loves you.
My sympathies go to you RC. Miss you around here.

OMG, that is sad news indeed. :bluesad:
Blessings and warm hugs to Ronnie and the children.
I'd feared that was the reason we hadn't heard from him. What can a person say except that I wish him all the best and I hope Tara Sue is in a better place.
I figured that was the reason he hadn't been a around, it's a bad time of year to lose someone, my wife lost her Grandmother a few years ago on Christmas day. W#E can only hope that she is in a better place now.
I hope RC is doing well and is in the best spirits he can manage considering.
May your memories bring you peace RC and you have my deepest sympathies. We're here for you man, remember that.
Oh man, my deepest sympathies to RC and all his family. I really feel for the guy and I hope that he is remaining strong for the kids. At the least, Tara Sue isn't in any more pain. :bluesad:
I'm so sorry to read of Tara Sue's passing.
My thoughts are with RC and the kids during this difficult time.
I very sorry to hear about Tara Sue. My condolences to RC and his family at this difficult time.
My deepest sympathies to Ronnie and his family.
This thread started as a celebration of his return to the board after a long absence. Now, it's turned into a condolence thread. Life can be like that, I guess.
I can only hope that when RC's done with the grieving process and returns to us, this can turn into a celebration thread again. Life can be like that, too.

True.
RC, Andrew, and myself can be compared to the Three Stooges.
I'm the mean one who bops others on the head and pokes them in the eyes.
Ronnie is like what was once said of Curly: he is the heart and soul of the group.
Oh yeah; Andrew is the one with the funny hair who cries a lot.
Each and every one of us combine to make this dish what it is. If one of us goes missing, the rest will notice it; the flavor is just distinctively different. Ronnie more than adds a special ingredient to this board that is very much missed when he is not here; and this dish isn't the same without him.
Ronnie is our very dear friend, a valued member of this or any community, and the board's mascot; of course, that's mainly because he's the only one the costume will fit.

I know what you meant, Rev, but just to clarify for anyone who may not.
There is no real ending to the grieving process. Grieving has various stages to it, and, unfortunately, there is no roadmap or calendar to follow; it will follow its natural course in time, and whatever stages are necessary.
Some may abruptly consider a celebration as something of cheer, and laughter, and stories being swapped. Well, it is; and even that in grieving.
To celebrate is to remember. To remember and share those things we hold so dear about someone.
Tara Sue, I suspect, has always been in a better place. She has a family who holds her dear and always close to their hearts, always keeping with them a part of her. In life or death, there is no better place than being in the thoughts, hearts, and souls of those who love you.
RC, I know I haven't known you as long as some of these guys, but I am fond of you nonetheless. You have been in my prayers for some time, and I hope that, in time, the sadness will fade enough for you to cherish the memories without being overwhelmed by pain.
We love you, Bela.
Hi. I'm Back....I actually starting bawling when I read this thread...jeez...here Iv'e been feeling sorry for my self and I have the best freinds in the world. Whatta shmuck I am.
Please allow me to play this song,though...it was Tara's favorite...Uncle John's Band by the Grateful Dead...she was very much the old school hippie...she was honest, beautiful, and loved life....I miss her so much. I love you Tara Sue.

It's good to see you back, RC. I'm very sorry for your loss; you've been in my thoughts and prayers quite a bit lately.
I suppose I'm a little slow on my response, but I'd like to express my sadness and sympathy for the loss of Tara Sue. You're an important part of our little community here and you'll always have our friendship and support.

I was sitting here at my PC, listening to The Moody Blues on headphones. Justin Hayward was singing This Is The Moment and I started bawling uncontrollably.
