Title: Guess which hotel room # I am in tonight?
Post by: sprite75 on December 09, 2008, 01:49:07 AM
I'm out of town for work right now, and as a result I'm spending the night in a hotel.  And this hotel numbers its rooms oddly - first floor rooms begin with the number 4, and second floor rooms begin with a number 6.

As a result, I am spending the night in room 666.

That is pretty cool. Surprised in a way they have that room, cause you'd think it'd go the way of 13th floors.

You know, whenever I'm in a hotel room, I always go to the corner and lift the carpet up and slip a dollar bill there, and put the carpet back down. Shrug. Done that for years. Figure I'm creating a story for people to tell in the future. "Wonder how that dollar got under the carpet, Jose?" "Dinno, amigo, but it's mine now."

Funnily enough, when I was at Glasgow Uni, I used to have literature tutorials in Room 666 in the West quadrangle. It never did me any harm!
