I'd guess 9 of 10 who have seen this hated it. I can't say it was a pleasant experience myself, but it qwas entertaining and i ended up at least respecting it. i respect killer tongue. It's like John waters and pee Wee herman made a movie to be shown at Quentin Tarantinos birthday party (circa 96). The theme of a space meteor that gives people weird powers is very secondary to the sort of painfull slapstick "comedy". "Forbidden Zone" and a recent favorite of mine "Zsa Zsa Zaturnah" did this in a less repellent way and I'd watch those again but not this. But I had to see it because of the title and now I have and it was certainly unique if not an absolute all time favorite.

I have heard about this film in whispered conversation, is it particularly gross or odd, or is it just the title that makes it notable
it started out as a sort of tarantino rip off and became something at least original. it is pretty gross and odd yes
Hmm... I'll have to give it a looksee
It is the type of thing likely to NOT appeal to lots of different people for different reasons. the dialogue and so forth are too harsh and derirative of tarantino and the era in general for critics/ snobs. but then it's too sort of gay and weird for more conservative movie fans. It's really doomed to obscurity
Now this right here ... this is a bad movie.
i was so unimpressed by this one... i actually fell asleep during parts of it....
I swear her tongue is made of bubble gum...
This one deserves to be a classic!
I saw this one as I have a crush on Melinda Clarke and I forgot most of it. Never a good sign. Overall its ok.
