I've been wasting my time creating Elvira desktop backrounds.
I need a life.
And a girlfriend.
Nah, forget the life...
Typing the same codes into a computer 30 odd times over, to give losers free money for wasting money. :bluesad:

They can't all be losers, I'm unemployed at the moment. :bluesad:

I know, I've been there too. But, it's the same names every week and the same excuses. The DWP keeps paying out no matter what, it's beyond a joke. I was homeless once for 5 months at this time of year and I never asked or got a hand-out from anyone. That's track suits and Stella Artois for ya'.
Work... I have not spoken to a single customer today.

I know that feeling. I'm living it right now. I'm staying with my mum because it's either that or a cardboard box outside. I wouldn't be able to fit my stuff in a box.
About 15 years ago, my mom got me a set of silk longjohns on sale for $60.00.
They're paper-thin, but they work pretty well on a still day.
Today it was windy.

You kept 'em for 15 years-just in case ?
Yikes !
Walking back and forth through my apartment because I'd get confused as to what I was doing or forget something. Of course, it only takes about ten steps to go from one end to the other, but still, pretty pointless.

No, silk just lasts a while.
I've just smashed my stereo
Today a lady called me to look at a ceiling on a house that had fell in and wanted me to fix it, I couldn't start on it today BUT she wanted me to look at it anyway and she couldn't be there but I had a key ... so I drive all the way to another town to look at the ceiling that had fell in, I got there looked at it and said "Yep, it fell in." and left.
A complete waste of time and totally pointless, but I guess she felt better ... until she figures out I'm charging her for it because I bet it will look the same next week when I can start on it.

Not long, as I hate the damn thing. I only have it for playing all my vinyl. It's the stupid cd deck that makes me mad because it's fussy about what I insert into it. I put in a Gamma Ray cd in last night and it would only play track 5 and skipped all over the show. I put Stevie Nicks in or Hardline....no problems. I put in D.A.D. or Dangerous Toys.....no joy. I tried to play some Overkill albums, as they usually work, but then the damn thing would only play the 3rd track on all 15 of them! I have a seperate cd player (boom-box) I use, but there's no room for it and the sound is too flat. :hatred:

At least you're using real music and not downloads !
Bring back the Ghetto Blaster !
QuoteWhat's the most pointless thing you've done today ?
Reading this thread.
1) It is -4 F outside, and I just bought a bag of Popsicles.. .
2) Reading Menard's reply. :bouncegiggle:
Got dragged to the mall today so my wife could look at sweaters and scarves. Oh man, we were so close to the door leading to the parking lot, but then - another damned table full of sweaters. Didn't buy anything of course, just looking. I dunno, guys go to the store to buy stuff. Women go to look at stuff. Then I guess they mull it all over in their mind until a decision about which sweater to buy is finally reached. Then of course they return it two days later anyway.
Tried to use an amazon.com gift certificate that my mom gave me, only to discover that she'd already redeemed it (she'd forgotten that she'd used it already)
I woke up.
I walked outside my basement apartment, faced the several acres of woods in front of me and took a leak when I could have easily done the same thing inside, using one of my two bathrooms. :tongueout:
I battled an air hockey table that would not give up the puck. :hatred:
I created my own Dark Judge called Judge Banshee. I wonder if the 200AD people would be intrested in buying it from me.
Oh, man.
I've been unemployed for far too long...
But thanks to the collapse of the global banking system so are loads of other people !!!
Every Cloud...
Ordered some stuff from a website a few days ago. Last time I ordered from them they shipped it within a few hours. I'm sure they were open this week, it said so on their website. I figured that being Friday, they'd for sure want to get all their orders caught up before the weekend. So I checked my order status about 8 times today.
Yeah...that turned out to be pretty pointless :bluesad:
Haven't done a whole lot in the way of pointless beyond roaming around on the internet. I played a bit of Eternal Sonata besides that. All in all, a perfect get-sent-home-early day. :tongueout:
I punched a dryer.
Installed BBC i Player Download Manager.
I don't even know what it does. I only did it because I was bored.
First day of work for me today (5th January)
A few film enquiries today ~ not much really compared to what I usually get daily.
Attended a baby shower as my brain desperately tried to gnaw its way out of my skull to escape.
I attempted to super glue the soles of my shoes...again.
Sat around waiting for my girlfriend to call me back.
I went to work today.
Began to set up to work out and didn't.
The most pointless thing I did today? I got up for work.

I've got several DVD's on order, so I was a bit enthusiastic when I went out to check the mailbox. Nothing. Figured maybe the mail hadn't come yet, so I checked it again later. Yup, guess what was in it THAT time?
Yesterday, my most pointless thing was to go to a restaraunt that I KNOW sucks, ordered one of the things I KNEW they were too incompetent to make correctly, which had one of their "house sauses" on it, which always suck, and for some reason was surprised that the entire meal SUCKED. To top it off, I had iced tea with my dinner, which keeps me awake. . By the time I got home I was already starting to feel hungry again. Some day I'll start learning from my mistakes. .. some day.
I pondered over what birdseed I should buy at the store for about 10 minutes. I ended up getting suet.
