I did until I got a girlfriend. 

I'm in for "occasionally" since I am married and a father.  In other words, intaking porno is rather difficult.  If this were 10 years ago, I'd have you add in "way too much" to the selections.  :bouncegiggle:  People can trounce the adult industry for whatever moral reasons they want but it has kept many people (both male and female) happy...if you know what I mean.

Watched a bit when I was a teenager and actually found it really boring.  The horrible acting and complete lack of story didn't help either.  Haven't seen an actual porno in probably twenty years, but I do have a couple of soft-core items in my collection, Playboy's Sexy Cheerleadersand Bound Cargo, some Checkoslovakian thing by one of my favorite bad movie directs, Lloyd Simandl.

I don't watch videos so much as just look at pictures, and I try to limit myself on that because I am in a relationship.  My girlfriend and I have a standing deal though: I can look at porn as long as she's allowed to read all the trashy homoerotic fanfiction she wants.  I hate the degradation aspect that's become really prominent in porn, so stick to softcore. 

The fiancee and I both embrace our perverted side (we are all just hairless animals after all!), so I watched porn at least a few times a day. It's good for prostate health too. Thanks to the internet though, I haven't had to spend a dime on naughty stuff in years!  :cheers:

Only that which I make myself, and then only for editing purposes.

Mostly cheesy softcore stuff, like seventies EuroTrash & the kind of stuff that turns up on late night premium cable.

Never really been able to stomach hardcore, except maybe Deep Throat, for eh, "intellectual purposes."
I've been trying to dig up more of the works of George Harrison Marx.
I think one of the biggest differences between the classic stuff & the newer stuff, is the music. Back then, the music was real, albeit, it was just as bad as everything else in the film. These days, they rely way to heavily on midi scores, which were pretty cool when they started coming out with all those musical wristwatches & handheld videogames back in the late seventies & early eighties, but got real irritating real quick.

Of course, Movies like Hokusai manga, Possession (1981), Heavy Metal & Galaxy of Terror played a role in my developmental compensation for lack of a social life.
I've always been into Hentai in any medium, & since discovering the internet, I've really gotten into what some guys are doing with that CGI stuff.

The poll should probably have an option for guys who used to, back when they were young and ornery. It was one of those things that came out once in a while, if some of us happened to be sitting around with nothing better to do, and nobody around who might object. I had a couple of tapes in high school that a friend recorded off satellite, back in the days of huge backyard dishes. Aside from the obvious appeal, some of the old pornos of the 70s and 80s were pretty funny, in that dumb, cheesy way we all love.

Only when I've been unbelievably bored and not been seeing anyone, but it's pretty much the same stuff over and over again. I don't know how people don't feel like crap watching it, when you could be at it with real woman instead.

Once my friend's former boyfriend who's a perv tried to make us watch a porno when we were 17 called ass artist 2.  I kept my eyes shut, but my friend watched and yelled out everything that was happening and within 10 minutes we were both crying.  It was surprisingly traumatic for what we thought was going to be funny.

The other times I've watched a porno was a Ceasar porno that my husband made me watch, but only for a part where when Ceaser was dying, he whispered the recipe of Caeser salad, which WAS funny, and another porno that had very little porn going on a lots of a CG dragon flying around.

I did seek out and intentionally watch part of One Night in Chyna to see Chyna's "lil Chyna" that I heard so much about.  ITS REAL!!!!  And I think that falls into the reason of people growing new genitalia.

I've actually had some good laughs at some porno flicks.  Recall one that John Holmes was in called "D*ckman And Throbbin".  It has a legendary speech in it that you can find on youtube.  Just type in the film's title and it will be the only clip that appears.  Of course its NSFW.   

Anyhow, the whole plot is D*ckman and Throbbin running around (in awful costumes) in an Adam West/Burt Ward style 'helping' young ladies out along the way.  I have to secure a copy of this for reviewing purposes. 

It seems I recall reading an interview in a men's mag (I think it was Details, but I'm not sure), in which the writer was interviewing about their thoughts on their boyfriends & porn. As I recall, they were Playboy Playmates (but again, I'm not sure), so they the sort of women who'd be all for it.

The thing that always stuck out in my mind, was the last line in the article, in which one of the women being interviewed pointed out that, while she was fine with her boyfriend's habit, she wouldn't want to be "Replaced by a magazine".

From the perspective of having dealt with a lifetime of rejection, I couldn't help but find this statement ridiculously ironic.

What's porn to one person might not be to another and in that lays the problem.

If you're talking hard core sex scenes, years ago in the military; yes. Now with a house full of women; no. I'll get the occasional email with a video link to something hardcore, but I don't seek it out nor do I have a problem with it. I'm pretty jaded.

Well I did just watch Naylin' Paylin' but mainly just for laughs rather than 'kicks'.  But yeah, I'm not porn's biggest advocate [there's alot of crap out there] but it is good for a watch every now and then.

european porn stinks.  it has to do with the health of the actors

The films with Peter North in them make me laugh.  I still don't know how one man can produce so much of a certain "substance".

As a single man, I have been known to watch porn on occasion.  I don't like most of the current stuff.  I like "nice" porn.

Frankly, I watch porn a lot. I have an extensive collection of porn, mostly fetish-esque type films.

That show went on the air when I was five, & after being canceled, was always in syndication somewhere in town all throughout my puberty, so the short answer would be yes.

But the point I was really trying to make, was that I just hate morphs.
I used Lynda Carter as an example, because she's the one I see this done to the most, but I hate it when they do this to any actress or porn star.

I even feel the same way when they morph silicon queens.
I enjoy looking at pictures of women who've had themselves surgically enhanced to cartoonish proportions, but it really bugs me when somebody on the web morphs them even bigger because he felt they weren't big enough.

I collect classic nude pinups & Playboys & stuff from the Fifties, & I thought it was still porn.

I've never understood the appeal of a fake picture. What's the point of having a nude photo of Lynda Carter (to borrow an example), if she posed for no such picture and all the naughty bits are someone else's. It's not a nude picture of Lynda Carter. Kind of pathetic if you ask me.

I don't find nudes to be porn UNLESS I'm seeing more than a OBGYN would see. 50's pinups is art, Playboy is Art, Hustler is porn. IMHO. I have a huge Bettie Page collect I don't consider it porn, I don't hide it in a closet and if someone doesn't approve it's their problem not mine.

I agree.  I like some stuff, but once they mess with scat or something like that, it's eerie.

I usually prefer true erotica to actual porn but of what I do own in terms of porn it's mostly the girl-on-girl or female solo type stuff. 

Between the years 1933 ~ 1994 in South Africa, if you were caught with anything (magazines, videos, films, photos, etc) that remotely resembled consenting adults having a good time, you were in trouble. Possession of such material could lead to a heavy fine, a jail sentence or both.  :buggedout:

Personally if what I see involves consenting adults of any gender or age (18 up, please) then I'm OK with it. Anything else IMO is just wrong.

I bought it to play at a friend's bachelor party.  Actually, it's not bad.  Funky session musicians recreating the music from DEBBIE DOES DALLAS, SEKA'S FANTASIES, etc.  This CD was popular enough that they put out a second volume.  A lot of it sounds like the same grooves you hear in blaxploitation films of the same period.

:smile: It's a bit of both, really. But in post apartheid SA, it's nice to know that we finally have freedom of choice in what we wish to read, see and listen to. We still have a censor board at www.fpb.gov.za (http://www.fpb.gov.za) but they're more of an advisory body really.

Yes, got no women so i watch a lot of porn. I have been finding my self lately moving towards the more burlesque stuff and artfully done nudes.

I remember you posted a list of banned films at one time and I think banning something is what gives it allure, just like some of the uptight folk in the US that put porn behind the counter to protect the children, all they'll doing is giving it an additional appeal as a forbidden fruit. But jailing someone for the possession of porn is in my opinion a bit backwards, and that comment is coming from a guy that lives in Kentucky ... there is some irony there somewheres. Well at least they moved past that and you always have the internet, unless they block it too.

I've heard some girls get upset when their boyfriends watch porn or look at nudie pictures. Is it really any different when i flip through my issues of Glamour or Cosmo and pause at a page plastered with the body of some lithe, young, partly-nude male model advertising perfume or underwear? not really.
On the other hand, I've had some men/friends tell me that they find my collection of adult films or magazines disturbing...
I don't care what two consenting people do in their own bedroom, i don't feel the need to judge anyone. I'm not into man on man action, so  I simply don't watch it. I look at porn much like a look at everything else, If i'm into it, great, if not i don't involve myself with it. I guess the only porn i'm uptight about is the 'preggers' videos. There just seems something wrong there...

Fair enough Cheeze -- I'll agree that those women aren't terribly appealing, though I think it's sad that that's the stereotyped image of a sexualized "fat chick." A big girl who takes care of herself can be a wondrous sight. 

And thank you for not being as degrading towards fat chicks as some people I've known have been in regards to my preferences...A lot of people seem to think that all big girls are like double-X chromosome Homer Simpsons or Peter Griffins, equating fat with stupidity and poor hygiene.  While I'll admit that there certainly are fat people like that, I disagree with the widespread stereotyping of all big folks as that (I'm looking at you, mainstream media).

My best friend in highschool, who happened to be pretty hot, use to tell me all the time i'd be perfect for him if only i'd gain about eighty pounds...plumpers were his thing so each to his own. I consider myself pretty thin, i weigh around 115 and I'm 5'7" tall, but then again I have been told that I was too 'thick' by a guy once. What one person finds sexy, another will find it hideous and vice versa. For example, I love Joel David Moore, but my mom refers to him as that geeky starving boy. I do think it is wonderful that as humans, what we consider to be beautiful is evolving; and its a good thing that people have different tastes, otherwise 90% would never get laid (much like myself)....

The wee-wee and the hoo-hoo are all that matters  :tongueout:

I've known plenty of couples who go out and rent porn together.  There's actually a few companies who specialize in couples type porn if I'm not mistaken.

To each his own I say, I don't criticize someone taste in women. I'm a little thin to full figure kind of person, those stick women, super thin, bony women I'll pass on, they just don't look healthy equally I'll pass on the really bigs ones too. Just not my flavor.

I can appreciate both sides of that. For the most part, I've got no problem with a nude photo of Elvira as long as it is a nude photo of Elvira, and not her face photoshopped onto somebody else.

Apparently, we're losing the ability to fantasize if we actually have to create the image. Fantasies should definitely be left to the imagination.

Then again, if somebody wanted to use their imagination and paint a nude portrait of Elvira, I don't think I would mind that. Artists take licence with their subjects, and paint things according to their own vision. Doctoring a photograph to pass it off as the real thing - that's just a deception.

Elvira has NEVER appeared nude ... Cassandra Peterson on the other hand (no pun) has several times mainly in the 1970's. She, Cassandra said that it's NOT Elvira's image to appear nude. Any nude photos of Elvira are photoshopped.

Elvira is hot clothed it's more her personality that's really attractive. Granted she's still smokin' hot, but you can tell she'd be fun to be around.

It really is a preference, and as you said, no different then liking one hair or eye color more than another.  It could be considered a fetish if a guy physically could not get aroused with without the presence (or at least image) of an extra-large lady, big beyond normal curvaceousness.  Coming at it from a historian's perspective (I can't help it, I'm just a few credit hours away from my BA in History), voluptuousness and curves have been humanity's ideal of beauty for thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of years.  It was a sign of health and associated with fertility, and even a sign of wealth -- that a woman could afford to be well-fed (or rather, than a man could afford to feed his spouse or daughter well or even to excess).  It's really only been in the last couple decades that slenderness has become an ideal of beauty. 

I think it also comes down to proportions.  A 110-lb (though my tastes run a bit bigger than that) woman with curves is more attractive, at least in my opinion, than either a stick-girl or a huge plumper.  I use woman and girl in the previous sentence as I do, because the stick-girls are just that -- they don't look like they've gone through puberty, and that does nothing for me.  Preferring curves is evolutionarily "correct" -- a curvy woman's body announces, "I have enough adipose tissue to reproduce -- LET'S GET IT ON!" which I at least think is a major component of why curvy women are so appealing -- we're animals at the heart of it, and 5,000 years of civilization does not eradicate the primal instincts.
