With respect to the guy, as I'm a bit of a packrat myself, that would make such a kick-ass movie scene!

I used to have an uncle that kept everything.  He used to dumpster dive as well.  Currently hes in his 90s and doing rather well.  Luckily he has continued to find his way out of his house apparently.  I ifind as I go on the less sh*t I have in the house, the better.  Apparently its harmful to your health.  Well anyhow, RIP.
