Title: Quick favor to ask if you use Firefox
Post by: Captain Tars Tarkas on January 10, 2009, 11:47:29 PM
Can you see the embedded video in these two links?

Link 1 (old video player)  http://tarstarkas.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=477&Itemid=70

Link 2 (new video player)   http://tarstarkas.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=444&Itemid=70

My XP firefox suddenly stopped having the embedded video with the older player in link 1 appear on my XP comp, but works just fine on the Vista laptop.  If this is a common problem then I need to change all my video settings quicker than I thought.  Link 2 has a new version of the video player which is better overall and shows up on my XP's firefox.  I will probably be updating all the clips all eventually, but it would be nice to know if the embedding problems is an isolated problem on my comp of if it is a new problem I need to track down.  And if I need to change all the clips quicker in the reviews.

Thanks

I'm using Firefox 3.0.5 and it seems to work OK. This an XP machine.

I've got Firefox 2.0.0.13 on Windows 2000. Both players are working for me.

Thanks a lot, it looks like I suspected and it is a problem on my end.  That means I can be slower about upgrading the videos which is a load off my mind.
