I liked his Columbo episodes. He lived to a respectable age. May he RIP.

I'll always remember him as King Longshanks from Braveheart.

He also played the warden in Escape From Alcatraz.

PATRICK McGOOHAN!!  I missed this news item entirely.  One of the few actors with complete credibility, I am deeply saddened that one of my favorites has left us.  Goodnight, PATRICK, you won't soon be forgotten.
