The overworld tune from Zelda II comes immediately to mind.

DKC2 had a lot of good music, too.

Actually, the whole soundtrack was pretty cool, but the boss fights were the coolest. Did I love that game! It was sooo cool, even though the controls were quite sluggish and there were a few glitches. You can't hear the music that well on that vid Bill, it doesn't seem to feature the "NC theme" track on it either. It was a complete Zelda ripoff, but the game was lots of fun, and the music was catchy.
