I'm trying to find a movie that was about some killer robot hunting down people and I distinctly remember some elevator scene of some sort where its claw came at someone.

The front cover of the movie was all black with a robot claw hand comming out of the ground? or water?
Simple front cover. Simple name too but I can't remember it =(

Can anyone help?

If its got the creepy looking guy that came out in the Toto video stranger in town, its death machine.
look it up on Imdb so you can get pictures of the actor.
