I caught a few minutes of "Fringe" last night and it looked interesting. Can anyone vouch for it?
To be perfectly honest I did not care for the pilot episode much. Too, given the track record of it's network, I was reticent to invest time into the series. But, as there's nothing else on, and I've caught a few episodes since, I have to say it grows on you. I've seen it described as X-Files lite but it's seems closer to PSI Factor or The Burning Zone.
It's not great TV but it's better than 99.999% of the reality shows plagueing the airwaves.
I like it. Weirdness, paranoia and humour in good proportion. Walter Bishop is my new favourite TV character!
I like it a lot more than the simialar themed 11th Hour. The characters in Fringe are much more likable. Though I don't really like how it seems EVERYTHING is connected to Walter and Massive Dynamic. It's not like all scientist are employeed by one corporation.

But all the evil ones are!
