Title: Bad guy locked in a car gets killed by the exhaust gas.

The movie ends with the scene where; the victim is helped by a ghost or something and it kills the bad guy in a car by poisoning him with exhaust gas.

That sounds an awful lot like one of the "Final Destination Movies"

I know but this movie title that I'm trying to find out is from the 80'ties.

Nope...it was nothing about the cars. What happened was something like the "Final Destination" some kind of force-ghost or something locked the bad guy in the car...and put the hose in causing him to die from the gas.
