There are so many of these dreadful movies on Hallmark Channel, and they all seem so interchangeable - LOVE'S ENDURING PROMISE, LOVE'S LONG JOURNEY, LOVE'S ENDLESS HOPE, LOVE'S ABOUNDING DREAM - that after awhile the titles run together. I got back from an arrowhead show this evening to find my wife and one of my teenage daughters watching one of them and sniffling as the brave young prairie schoolteacher tries to raise her son alone after the death of her brave husband while intervening on behalf of two plucky orphans and fighting her increasing attraction to the town's handsome sheriff and . . . . you get the idea.
On the one hand, it is nice that there are good, wholesome, Christian romances that my wife and daughters can watch together and cry over in some strange, feminine bonding ritual.
On the other hand, every masculine gene in my body is screaming for a little blood, maybe an explosion, aliens, monsters, or some casual nudity (cleavage even!) to relieve the endless, nonstop wholesomeness!!!!!!
I fondly hope none of my BadMovies.org brethren and sistren have had to endure these awful films!

guts everywhere
I'm married to a woman to loves crap like that. It's too late for me. I endure stuff like that far too often.
Agh! My Mom watches those all the time! She always asks me "How can you sleep at night after watching all those horrible gorey movies!!?" and I say "How can YOU sleep at night after watching all those depressing Hallmark/Lifetime movies?!"
On the other hand, the 'Lifetime Network' sometimes comes up with real winners like Delta Burke in MATERNAL INSTICTS. It's as funny as anything coming out of Troma.
The sight of a plus-size Burke wielding a giant monkey wrench and laughing hysterically as she chases the heroine around the basement of a hospital is enough to warm the heart of the most hardcore bad movie fan.

Based on your description I'd say you guys would enjoy this. It's a love story about a courageous woman trying to hold on to her ranch after the disappearance of her husband, it has a handsome and mysterious stranger with a connection to the missing man, and comic relief (sort of) provided by Wilford Brimley.
There are also bad Irish jokes, cowboys, a cattle drive, saloon brawls and gunfights, see something for everyone.
