Man, some of this stuff could make you have a heart attack just looking at it.

At one point in my life bacon wrapped cheesesticks would be something I'd puprosely seek out. Now I know a bit better.
Its pretty obvious if you look around, certain people simply don't realize what they're putting into their body.
I didn't see where that restaurant is, does anyone know the name and is there one in Alaska? I'm going to have to try that place.

Think it's called McCoronary's
B-b-b-b-but, other than Frito Pie (some of which I just happen to have eaten -- YUM!), I haven't eaten any of those dishes. So why am I fat?
Seriously, I love bacon, but most of those bacon dishes didn't even look appetizing. Chocolate-covered bacon? No, thanks. And any concoction made from McDonald's food is just nasty. A couple of things looked like they'd probably be kinda tasty, but the pictures the site featured made them look disgusting.
Oh, and the Frito Pie I just had was made with turkey chili, which is supposed to be 95% fat-free.
Y'know I'm tubby and I have never even SEEN this kind of food. So keep the smugness to a dull roar.

Me either.
Ironically though, I bet if you went to a Vegan site that said, "This is why you're thin."
NONE of the food there would make you go, "Damn, I feel hungry all of a sudden!"
:tongueout: :tongueout: :tongueout: :tongueout: :tongueout:
I eat what I want as much as I want and I'm not thin nor fat, but I work my ass off, if I ever stop I'll likely balloon up.
Yuk. Those pictures look disgusting. People have always seemed overly focused on eating, it always seemed to me. (Y'know they sit around at dinner and talk about what they had for dinner yesterday or what they'll have tomorrow). I've never had a problem with weight, I'm the right weight for my height, and still have a flat gut. I don't eat everything I'd like all the time (changing blood chemistry advised a wise-up in the diet) so now I eat oatmeal and fruit each morn and feel better than I ever did eating my favorites (like cheeseburgers - real burgers - for breakfast!!) and now I have a BLT maybe once every couple of months.
This one has some sort of serene beauty:

It's actually an X-Treme corndog.

Note the 'Lite Baconnaise' for you calorie counters out there.
Okay, the chocolate chip sausage thing just does NOT make sense to me. Sausage and chocolate chips just do NOT go together. Course, I'm not one for mixing sweet and salty tasting food together, which is why something like, for example, pineapple on pizza mystifies me.
To me, that'd be like putting bananas in spaghetti...

I can't explain why but pineapple with ham on a pizza is actually prett good. Yeah I thought it was odd the first time I had it but found it was rather enjoyable. But then I get excited over seeing Doris Wishman films so might be a case that I'm just odd.
Hey didn't mean to upset anybody, I was just intrigued by all the disgusting food listed there. That can of pig brains in milk gravy really put me off.

Didn't upset my fat butt any. I actually agree with the site idea of a lot of why so many of us including myself are fat has to do with our love of greasy, high calorie foods. Granted I also will add lack of exercise to my list of reasons.
As far as the pig brains in milk gravy, I swear I saw some of that in a store yesterday. That stuff looks nasty on the can, would never want to see it on a plate.
Also I found one item on that site which is pure evil.

Snickers Pie
I have eaten this and it's really good, in fact too good. Food like this should come with a warning label.
"WARNING : May make you forget ever getting healthy again and will expand you waist size because you will try to eat the entire thing by yourself."

Pineapple on ham goes back a long way, they call them Hawaiian around here on pizza, but pineapple rings on baked ham has been around a long time, it's called pineapple glazed ham. At least in the southern US it's popular.

Not just the south.
My mother-in-law made that, with the cherries, and she was a lifelong NYC-area resident.

After I had pineapple and ham pizza, I started cooking hams that way as well. Granted I also have cooked hams with a cranberry sause and brown sugar glaze, honey, and with Coca-Cola. All are pretty good. I've known about pineapple glazed ham my entire life being born and living my entire life in Alabama, jsut my parents prefered salt cured ham or smoke cured ham instead of the sweet taste pineapple glazed ham has. So it wasn't until I was an adult that I got to try it.
The pineapple on pizza started because of people putting shrimp on pizza. Ever get nautious feeling after eating shrimp? A little pineapple or pineapple juice would have prevented it.

Vegas casino sells 6-pound burrito at cafe, but patrons who can't finish get 'Weenie' shirt
Associated Press
February 27, 2009
LAS VEGAS - A Las Vegas casino cafe is rewarding patrons who can put away a 2-foot, 6-pound burrito with a most logical prize — free unlimited rides on a roller coaster that runs in both forward and reverse.
The offer comes with a caveat, though: Those who accept the challenge but can't finish "The Bomb" burrito have to take a picture with an extra small, pink T-shirt that says "Weenie."
The NASCAR Cafe at the Sahara Hotel & Casino began selling the cheese-and-guacamole slathered burrito on Thursday for $19.95.
Those who can finish the monstrous entree get it for free, along with two unlimited coaster passes and a T-shirt proclaiming they "Conquered the Bomb."
I noticed the "Munchie Boxes" and deep-fried chocolate bars on that list which are very popular up here but another heart-shattering delicacy is deep fried pizzas (I think one of the links there mentions them too).
Defensiveness aside... I will say that I am intrigued by a lot of this stuff. Frying non-standard foods does sound fun!
