I was aware, I just didn't care.

When is he gonna learn that just because his last name is Zombie that does not make him a horror expert.

If my name was Blake Particle Physics, that wouldn't mean I'd know stuff about the Hadron Collider.

Perhaps I'm alone here...but it has Bill Mosley in it...and I actually enjoyed the first half of the HALLOWEEN remake. And I LOVED the DEVIL's REJECTS.
I do wish he would do something new and different, though. Rehashing old stuff is too easy. He has talent...but he's copping out. Try someting different,Rob. You know you want to do a Charles Manson movie-do it!!!!

Yeah, I hated the remake, and didn't like House of 1000 Corpses, but I think the quality of some of the writing as well as other aspects of The Devil's Rejects (I movie I expected to dislike, but ended up thinking was quite good) shows he has legitimate film making talent.

He should do more original horror.

I guess I am in a minority, but I really loved the HALLOWEEN remake.  He managed to humanize Michael Myers and make him even more terrifying at the same time.

I agree with RC and Indy. I liked the first half of Halloween, which was fairly original. The second part, not so much. If Zombie takes this in a different direction from the original and stays away from any kind of direct remake, it could be pretty good.
