Wow...just wow...
Great, fun flick. You just can't miss with Randy Quaid and Rasta eyeballs. It was made shortly after the Bill & Ted movies, and, just in case you didn't recognize him, Keanu Reeves is featured as Ortiz the Dog Boy. It is one of the often overlooked great B-movies.
Ha ha - I had forgotten about that film. I rented this from my local Spar when I was young (thanks to parents that didn't really put much stock in the British Board of Film Classification's ratings). I have a burning desire to watch it again now, as it looked better than I recall. Roll on pay day (I don't think joining this forum will be good for my bank balance).
Mr.T as a Bearded Lady??? GENUIS!!!! :bouncegiggle:
hell yea man this is a classic! i still laugh at this movie. i love the whole pitch of zygrot 24 to alex winter bit. what am i saying i love everything about it!
Oh, Freaked is amazing. Staple of my high school years, actually. Alex Winter is a pretty funny guy, clearly demented. What are the odds we'll ever see a DVD release of The Idiot Box? Much less than that of the State, I can tell you that much.
There's a pretty good special edition of Freaked available. Pretty crazy, too. The previews before the movie are for Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry and License to Drive.
I'd buy it if I were you, because I already bought a copy for myself.
Freaked is a hoot to watch. One joke a lot of people miss is the name of the Everything but Shoes Corporation, Dick Brian. Remember to eat the Macaroons folks.
Freaked is a great movie, hands down. Plus it had Larry Bud Melman from David Letterman in it too. I like the "I Like Ike" guy, too.
Almost bought this a few days back only for the fact I heard it featured "Michu" Meszaros, the fascist midget out of WAXWORK
