I remember watching a lot of his movies while growing up in the 80's.
Hadn't seen to much of him lately, though.
And esophageal cancer... Makes me seriously think about quitting the cigars I smoke.

I heard this on the news today. Really sucks.
He was one of my favorite actors. R.I.P. Mr. Silver.

I really enjoyed his work as the lead villain in THE ARRIVAL (1996). R.I.P..

Just last month on Cinemax and HBO I was watching Live Wire with him and Pierce Brosman. Then a two weeks ago it was on WGN now I found out one of my favorite actors I watched since the 70's had died. RIP Mr. Silver.
