I know that you can get the IMDB top 250 from the site, but I want a way to see the top 10,000 movies. I also want a way to see movies in different genres beyond the top 100 of each.
Bah, what I wish IMDB would have is a better version of the keyword system, where you could start narrowing down from genre and year... :bluesad:
Are you aware of this page (http://www.imdb.com/list), Mr. B? The power search can be iffy but it does allow you to search through multiple data fields at the same time.
Frodo, you could also get something like a top 10,000 from that page by searching for all titles rated 9-10. That returns something like 13,000 hits, which you could narrow down by excluding TV shows and series. The main problem is the list is sorted alphabetically! If you check the box saying "sort based on my ratings" it will put them in some sort of strange order, with higher rated titles generally towards the top.

Incredible! I knew there had to be some amazing search like that, and I greatly thank you for pointing me towards it! :teddyr: :teddyr:
