Oh my GAWD!!!!!!!!!!  I love Inframan.  I saw this when I was like 14 or 15 and went bonkers over it.  It was so over the top and all the bright colors fried my little brain.  I had the crappy, washed out pan-and-scan VHS for years and when they finally released it in a beautiful new DVD version a couple of years back, I rushed out to buy it.  My girlfriend at the time thought I was silly and that the movie was barely entertaining, but I was a kid all over again.

Ultraman is a case of I stumbled upon an episode of the live-action series one day while watching cable at my brother's apartment. I watched Ultraman beat the living crap out of a monster, slicing off an ear with large amounts of blood involved. Sadly, I never got a chance to watch it again.  I have some of the animated episodes on DVD but they bore me to tears.

And welcome to the forums.

Believe it or not: I saw INFRAMAN at the movie theater! back in about...oh...1975 or 76...about the same year I saw GODZILLA vs. MECHAGODZILLA...which is another of my favorite Japenese films of the '70s.

I saw it in the theater as well.  I think my mom sat out in the car reading a Harlequin romance novel the whole time her son was having his brain overloaded with noise, explosions, monsters and sexy women villains. I remember coming out babbling about how great it was and she was very nice about it, nodding her head and asking, "How much candy did you eat in there?"

I'd love to find a movie these days that sent me out of the theater that amped up without sugar.

I have inframan on VCD.

those cartoons are cool but the live action Ultraman is pure genius.  I had about 3/4 of something called "hanuman and the  7 ultraman borthers" or something on vhs.  I must have watched it A THOUSAND times.

If I could find it WITH the dubbing I would definately buy it even thuogh I could probably recite the whole thing in it's entirety

"aim for his ears, they are radar recievers"

"increase in size and go to the harbor!"
