Title: Blob Movie
Post by: hotspur on March 30, 2009, 08:02:58 AM
I saw a movie in the late 70s, on TV, which was basically a take off on the original blob movie.  I looked on IMDb under "blob" and only found 2 options, neither of which was correct.  The movie I saw was in color and I would guess filmed in the late 60s or early 70s.  I only remember a scene where a long haired guy going to get his hair cut when it comes out of the sink and get both him and the barber and, I think, there were kids playing with these strings that had balls at each end that they would allow to clink together.  Anyone have any idea about it?  It scared the hell out of me as a 9-10 year old.

Note this is NOT the black & white movie with Steve McQueen or the 1980s version with Kevin Dillon.

Does this look like it?  The trailer includes part of the barber scene.

Yes!  That is it, that was definitely the guy from the barber shop scene.  Funny to think how scared I was as a10year old after I saw that movie.  God,it looks really poor. lol

PS: Sorry about the klackers injuries.
