Title: old alien movie
Post by: mybabydevyn on April 01, 2009, 10:55:10 AM
I am new here. And, registered just for this purpose. lol. I am trying to find a movie from the 70's or 80's. I only know I was young when I saw this on TV. It's an alien movie that had the aliens sucked the insides out of humans. they kind of looked a bit like slugs I believe. I remember one scene that had one of the under someone's car. And, the person may have dropped something, and, they reached out to get it by the car. And, the thing grabbed their arm and started to dissolve the inside of the arm. The other person had to cut the arm off to save the person. Can anyone please help me? I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. I have been trying to find this movie for about a year or so. I can't get the images out of my head. lol Thank you

Check out "The Hidden" and "Night of the Creeps." Both feature slug-like alien critters. I don't recall any arm-hacking going on though....

This is almost certainly "Island of Terror."  I like it a lot, and wish they would put it out on DVD.  Bill Heirs wrote a reader review for it:
