Title: Psychotic Blue Bird
Post by: trekgeezer on April 02, 2009, 12:18:47 PM
Couple a weeks ago my brother was over and when he got ready to leave we noticed this goofy blue bird sitting on his passenger side mirror  and then he started fluttering in the window.

The next week my daughter noticed him sitting on the ledge of one of our living room windows. Now we see him everyday by that window looking in and fluttering around liked he's trying to get in and he's  been doing that mirror business and pooping all over our cars .

Should I call D. Phil?   I swear this bird had OCD or has missed out on mating season and fallen in love with his reflection.

We've got a robbin trying to fly through the window into our back bedroom.  I guess he's trying to attack his own reflection?  I dunno, provides plenty of entertainment for the cat  :teddyr:

Yeah, I suspect the bird has built a next nearby and is fighting off "intruders", that is, his own reflection.

A bird nested near my parent's house recently and kept attacking their front door everytime he's catch his own reflection in the window.  Either he wised up, or the chicks grew up, because he stopped eventually.

Sometimes when I'm walking to work I get dive-bombed by red-winged blackbirds. Mean little basterds!  :bouncegiggle:

That stupid robin is attacking our house for the third straight day now - getting rather tired of listening to him flop into the widows all morning.  He got bored with the bedroom and is now trying to get into the bathroom.
