Title: FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER
Post by: RCMerchant on April 04, 2009, 06:49:40 AM
What's the difference between GONE WITH THE WIND and FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER?
Ones a classic of American Cinema, and the other is a total waste of time.
FRANKENSTEIN MEETS the SPACE MONSTER is A GREAT film!
It's got an ugly android astronaut rampaging around Puerto Rico killing hapless locals.(He kills one with a machate!)
Goofy martians on a mission to kidnap earth girls for breeding stock.
A bug-eyed Space Monster.
NASA  stock footage.
Cool space suits.
A silly flying saucer/disco ball.
James (RETURN of the LIVING DEAD) Karen!!!
Groovy neo-Beatles rock and roll music!
And more,more,more!

Does NADIR look like Howie Mandel to you guys?

I've never seen this,  but this is a great presentation -- I'd seen the monster image before, but didn't know what it was from --
Must  see soon!

Hey the full thing's on google video!  :teddyr:

I'm sure this will find it's place with Nukie and  The Creeping Terror as one of the absolute very worst movies of all time!

I reviewed this one a while back.  Great cheese factor and it features a young James Karen who I find to be a superb actor.

that groovy neo-beatles music was the poets from Scotland! A band that Andrew Loog Oldham (of rolling stones fame) also managed.

anyway it's a really crap movie mostly but I love the retro-b movie badness of it of course.
