We've all seen George Cloony's face all over the place, in movies, TV, magazines, being touted as "sexiest man that has ever existed" a billion times, but there's at least ONE thing I bet he wishes everyone would forget about: Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Now, I'm sure there are many here that feel that's the only useful thing he's ever done, BUT, think if you can, about it from a NORMAL person's point of view (Don't kid yourself, liking B-movies is not normal, this is EXACTLY what our parents meant when they told us we were 'special'), and realize that many stars start off doing stuff they regret. What other examples can you come up with?
Kevin Costner and Sizzle Beach spring to mind...
Never seen it myself, but the fact that I think he sued over it make me want to see it
Sued as in, tried to get it removed from shelves?
Let's not forget Clooney in "Facts Of Life" as a handyman for a few episodes.
And Angelina Jolie in "Cyborg 2", but then, I think this woman has no sense of shame. She'll be watching "Cyborg 2" when she's in her retirement house as she thinks, "God, I was so honest and real back then..."

Any and all of the actors and actresses in Batman and Robin and Batman Forever will probably want us to forget them - I reckon this is true from both a "normal" and um, "abnormal" (?) point of view. :twirl:

Though a lot of stars start their carrers with some low budget stinkers, many of the greats appeared in some BAD films towards the end as well.
Examples:
Veronica Lake in Brad (BLOOD FREAK) Grinters bizzare living Hitler Head movie FLESH FEAST.
Errol Flynn in the cheap CUBAN REBEL GIRLS.
Boris Karloff made some real steenking Mexi-horror films (my favorite being the SNAKE PEOPLE....)
Cameron Mitchell has done EVERYTHING! But a low spot in his carrear would have to be his appearance in the XXX porno DIXIE RAY-HOLLYWOOD STAR (1983).
International star Pier Angeli in OCTAMAN!
Oh...jeez! Even thouh Bela's film carrear consisted of many,MANY ultra low budget films...GLEN OR GLENDA had to be a low point!
Though not very well known....veteran actor James Craig had a solid carrear in mostly westerns...before humbling himself in the REVENGE of DR. X.

Veronica Lake was a glamourous starlett in the 1940's...some of my favorite films of her's are the BLUE DAHLIA (1946)-a GREAT film noir with Alan Ladd (incidently-this is not based on the Black Dahlia murder case...the film came first!),and I MARRIED A WITCH(...from which the TV show BEWITCHED originated.)
Here's a picture of Miss Lake sporting her classic peek-a-boo hairdo...

You might also remember that she was mentioned in L.A. CONFIDENTIAL--Kim Bassinger had plastic surgery to look like her so she could make money as a hooker fulfilling men's fantasies of sleeping with Veronica Lake.

At least he was ahead of the pack in knowing it would turn into a hot selling video game. Just had to wait a couple of decades for the technology to catch up with his vision.
My favorite Veronica Lake role is in Preston Sturgis' "Sullivan's Travels"(1941), from which the Coen Brothers got the title for "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". She is wickedly funny in this. She was only 54 when she died -- such a short life.
There is a detective movie out there that I've seen several times that has Bob Hope in a cameo as a taxicab driver. 'Can't recall the title, but it played on network TV in Virginia many times. He claimed to his dying day that he never did any such bit part, wanting to have it seem he was always a star.
Catch Stallone as one of two subway punks in Woody Allen's "Bananas"!

Hugh Grant In LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM
Kevin Bacon In TREMORS
Renee Zelwegger And Matthew McConaghey In TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 4
Howzabout George Sanders in PSYCHOMANIA?
Or Joan Crawford in TROG?

( Notice the dinosauer clips-they were lifted from Ray Harryhausen's ANIMAL WORLD!)
Demi Moore in Parasite
Tom Cruise in Losin' It
George Clooney in Combat High (AKA Combat Academy)
Losin' it is one of the only movies with Tom Cruise in it that I like, but, his performance did suck.
For me, the highlight of Losin' It was John Valby's performance. Overall, it was a pretty funny movie, but not one I think Cruise would want to be known for.

Nah. He was Chip Diller in Animal House. 1978. But, I'm pretty sure he's cool with Friday the 13th. I mean, just recently he was in the Queen Latifah movie Beauty Shop, which is really a step down from Friday and Tremors, if you ask me. So, if he's willing to do that piece of s**t, he's cool with Friday the 13th.

That is one of my favorite films. But he did kinda take a backseat. Still, that ending certainly summed up his real status.
George Costanza himself, Jason Alexander, played the high school kid who was the camp porn connection kinda in The Burning.
Let's give it up to Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey, Geena Davis AND Damon Wayons for starring in "Earth Girls Are Easy." Even if it's not a bad first it's still a step waaaaay back in quality.
Although it's a brief appearance, John Goodman in CHUD.
Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm St.
Naomi Watts in the remake of The Lift.
Milla Jovovich in Return to the Blue Lagoon.
Fairuza Balk in Return to Oz. Then again, Return to Oz wasn't that bad, and it is Fairuza Balk...
Michelle Rodriguez in The Breed.
Tom Hanks in He Knows You're Alone and Mazes and Monsters.
Viggo Mortensen in Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3.

And Michael McKean as the pool man. Sure, it's not a 'first' for him, but when you consider he's done Spinal Tap, Best in Show, etc, it's probably not a highlight on his resume.
Naomi Watts In CHILDREN OF THE CORN 4
Nicholas Cage in VAMPIRE'S KISS
John Travolta in BATTLEFIELD EARTH
Joe Pantoliano in THE FINAL TERROR.

I Guarantee That Forest Whittaker Does!

How about most of the actors and actresses from The Swarm? Pretty much every movie star from Batman & Robin wants to you forget that movie. Also, Abe Vigoda doesn't want to be remembered in Good Burger and Christopher Plummer is the same case with Rock-a-Doodle.
Wait a minute! Brain blast! I bet you anything that Brad Pitt and Kim Basinger wants everyone to forget about Cool World!

I dunno, I think Abe's pretty cool with Good Burger. Hell, he's a highlight of the flick. "I think I broke my ass!". Great stuff. Besides, he seems to have a good sense of humor. He's been on Conan and Letterman a bunch, doing the "I'm not dead' thing and all.
Plus, I really like Good Burger. Ah well.

Samuel L. Jackson Probably Wants Us All To Forget SNAKES ON A PLANE
I imagine Oscar-nominated actress Barbara Hershey wanted the public to forget her getting raped by an invisible demon in THE ENTITY. Unfortunately, people forgot about Barbara Hershey instead.
Matthew Lillard. i met him at a convention and brought up ghoulies 3 and he showed quite a distaste for it haha.
Jennifer Aniston in Leprechaun?

Faye Dunaway would like everyone to forget that she was in Mommie Dearest.
I think anybody who stared in Heavens Gate would like to forget they were in that film.
Jason Alexander was in an 80's slasher flick called The Burning. He was a high-school kid with a full head of hair and the unofficial camp porn connection.
