Title: Men being turned in to birds by spell

80's movie where a son ruturns to his dad's plantation after he dies and all kinds of weird stuff is going on. Men get turned in to birds, and they try to use magic to have the dad posses the son's body. The movie takes place in the south somewhere.

That would be Netherworld (1991)
Plantation, people turned into birds, all there.
