I was thinking of "New Jack City" for some reason the other day. One of my favorite scenes were the actual place where they like MADE the drugs. It was all very professional.
Can anyone think of any other movies that feature workmanlike science and manufacturing operations such as this?
Robocop
The living daylights...well, one of the Dalton Bond flicks.

License to Kill.
probably non-union those places
I wonder what kind of health plan they offer.
Robocop 2...more of a meth lab than anything.
Bulletproof with Adam Sandler had a huge drug/warehouse operation.
In it, a guard freaks out and thinks Damon Wayans character is a cop. And he's right!

I thought that was from New Jack City...
Ozzymandias speaks: Not drugs, but along the same lines is a 60's romantic comedy For The Love of Ivy. Sidney Poitier runs an illegal casino out of the back of a moving frieght truck.
Ozzymandias has spoken!!!
ENTER THE DRAGON-Bruce Lee,Jim Kelly and John Saxon vs.Han and Bolo.
James Glickenhaus' The Protector with Jackie Chan and Danny Aiello has a whole drug lab scene. Depending on which version you watch, the ladies in the lab are either naked or clothed.
Kevin Bray's Walking Tall has a drug lab scene too.
Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke - A variety of consumer goods, including a van are manufactured from marijuana.
I've never seen New Jack City but I know it's in American Gangster.
Not really in line with this topic, but this made me remember the old BIONIC WOMAN TV series with Lindsay Wagner. It seemed like every episode she ended up in a warehouse with water and/or steam pipes over head. She would often leap up and hang onto them.

I can't really contribute to this thread because I can't remember the names of any movies where I've seen such scenes, even though I've seen them many times. So all I've got is vague memories.
One in particular I remember is where somebody kidnapped the chief scientist from one drug warehouse, perhaps to work in their own drug warehouse?
It seems to me that Stephen Seagal has busted up at least one such operation. Probably Chuck Norris too.
Also seems to me such warehouse scenes are a staple of Hong Kong martial arts flicks.

Come to think of it...FISTS of FURY (which is actually the CHINESE CONNECTION by the wrong name!).Bruce works in a ice factory...which is a front for smuggling drugs.
One I watched on ONDEMAND a little while ago...LA BOUNTY...where she fights insane drug kingpin Wings Hauser! A great little picture!

Believe it or not, that film was banned in South Africa as "the impressionable youth of SA might be encouraged to take up marijuana smoking".
I saw it in 1998 and the only thing it encouraged me to do was :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: quite a lot.
