Title: On my way home
Post by: Andrew on April 23, 2009, 02:07:05 PM
I am at the San Diego airport, patiently waiting for my plane to depart.  Tonight I will get to see my wife and children again, and Jenna's birthday party is Saturday (she just turned 6).

Have a safe trip back home to the wife and kiddies, and to your personal DVD player.

Thanks everyone.  I'd been away for 7 weeks.  Doesn't sound long, especially compared to how much I was away in years past, but these days I notice it a lot more.  Must be how fast the children are growing up.

Jenna's birthday is April 20th, she actually turned 6 while I was away.  Katie just planned the birthday party for after I got back.  The kids had a blast at the party.  Katie planned an obstacle course, a scavenger hunt, and some other activities guaranteed to wear out the children.

Sorry I've been scarce.  The party and getting back into the groove here have kept me busy, and the children and Katie have had an awful flu bug.  I have it now, and it's no joke.
