Ive seen a few episodes and havn't been to impressed, fell asleep through some. The creatures are amazing looking but the plots are kinda lame and boring. I like British Sci-fi they always add something unique to a genere riddled with cliches, and Primeval has some cool elements but its just sorta lacking. Guess I've been spoiled by Doctor Who lately.
Series 3 has just started over here.
And as much as I hate to say it...it's actually kinda...good :buggedout:
And I hate Primeval, more of a Doctor Who guy. It's just so bonkers despite it's cheesiness.
It looks kind of interesting, but it's on Friday night, and that's just a bad time for me. I mean, I'm always doing all sorts of exciting stuff on Friday night, like...drinking beer and watching a DVD. Then turning the DVD off with a half hour left, and getting on here and talking about how bad it was.
Hmmm...guess I might as well check out Primeval.
I like the show, especially the larger back story that has gradually taken shape. That said, the characters can act like total idiots at times. They knowingly walk into situations where they know a highly dangerous life form exists, yet they take minimal or no weapons and/or few if any of the military personnel that are supposed to back them up in such circumstances.
I guess the shots of Hannah Spearitt in her underwear lured many guys, but I was always a Lucy Brown fan.
SPOILERS
I sure am going to miss her. First Cutter, now her. Boo!
SPOILERS
It's hard for me to understand how a show with so many monsters can suck as much as Primeval.
I was watching one episode where some scrawny chick drop-kicked an 8-foot tall monster. I haven't bothered with it since.
Awful, souless, embarrassing mess IMO.
