What snack(s) MUST you enjoy during your movies?
My wife and I MUST enjoy hot popcorn with our favorite toppings, during our
Netflix DVDs. The toppings keep changing...buttery...oily.....cheddar....chili cheese powder,,,,etc...
If I'm going to watch a movie I think POPCORN!
If I see popcorn, I think MOVIE!
Some people want nachos, ice cream, chocolate, fruity candy etc.
WHAT MUST snack(s) you enjoy during your movies?
It depends. Sometimes Popcorn is preferred but most of the time it's usually potato chips with dip and Reese's peanut butter cups for me :teddyr:
Back in the day when we did our Saturday night VHS marathons we would make us grilled cheese sandwiches in between movies, or order pizza. Miss those days.
Doritos and hot salsa
At home, pizza and a glass of Coke or Pepsi.
At the cinema, nothing.

Good, man.
Why do people eat at the cinema !
Can they not keep their gobs shut for 2 hrs.
I rarely get anything at the movie theater these days. That's in part because for the past four years I've been going to the midnight screenings at the local cinema (half-price tickets with a student ID) and eating after midnight does terrible things to me. In the past, when going to the movies with my mom and sister, I'd partake of a bucket of popcorn.
On a recent trip to a drive-in, I had some rather phenomenal buffalo wings. They were as big and meaty as Vin Diesel's nose.
Also, Dots.
At home I like to fix up a plate of delicious nachos, using whatever I'm in the mood for. At the theater, sometimes I bring cut up fruit. I bag and haul out everything I bring in BTW.
Sometimes popcorn, but I don't like cinema popcorn because of the effect it tends to have on one's innards. That and a bucket is something like 202145453233245 Calories, and I hate feeling a cardiac arrest as I'm getting into the second act of a film. What I really like is anything gummy, like Jolly Rancher Gummies, or Gummy Worms. I think my absolute favorite is Jelly Bellies. :teddyr:
nothing!
Is beer a munchie?
I usually stop at the grocery store and buy a couple packages of these:

I also get a bag of these Shullsburg cheese curds:

Those in the picture are garlic flavored but I always buy the regular white cheddar curds.
If I don't get either of those, I usually sneak in a bag of Brach's gummy bears.

:teddyr: The problem here is 60% of the time that I'm at the cinema, I'm the projectionist so the first rule is: "No eating ~ you don't want grease marks on the film or spots on the DVD."
I have enough hassles with brown spots on my white undies anyway... :buggedout:

EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now you want us to talk about food?
I don't normally snack these days during movies at home (can't stand going to the theater anymore with the literally unwashed, slack-jawed, cell-phone-yakking, talking-through-the-movie, inbred idiots), but when I did, it was Gobstoppers.
Now I just drink diet Mountain Dew or beer if I have any.
Movie watching for me is so sporadic that I usually don't have a set food. Sometimes I'm eating dinner, other times I stick to my usual favorite snacks like pretzels, popcorn or crackers.
I never eat anything at the theater as well unless I smuggle it in. Five bucks for a popcorn that took them a less than a buck to make is silly.
Juju Fruits!
Usually don't eat anything during a movie. On Friday and Saturday nights, I'll have beer. No matter if I'm watching a movie or not.
I am drinking a beer right now actually.

Actually, eating at the cinema is a psychological thing for me. I MUST have popcorn . . . if I don't, I feel a vast emptiness throughout the movie.

Same here.
I wouldn't go to see a movie at a theater without bringing something in with me.
And I never buy the theater food. A soda and a popcorn costs more than the movie itself.

Oh, no . . . I MUST have the theater popcorn. I MUST!
From what I have seen, I prefer ice cream at home or some beef jerky of any flavor. At the theater, there is not many foods that are worth the time to consume in the first place. Oh yeah, nice undies comment. I am still laughing.... :bouncegiggle:
I should've asked what everyone enjoys eating during movies AT HOME AND at theaters as it's really 2 categories.
I try to eat enough before my wife and I visit a theater. But I MUST have butter popcorn the minute I smell it inside the theater. I just buy a medium size for $4.75.
It was my first time (during the Trek movie tonight) to see EXTRA HUGE bags of popcorn for sale for $6.00. It looked like a 2 foot tall bag of popcorn for $6.00.
At home either Bounty Bars, jelly babies or crisps (cheese and onion or barbercue beef flavour). I like an ice cold can (or several) of diet cola (any brand) when watching a movie.
