Title: InformationGeek discovers the rare treasure known as Twice Upon A Time
Post by: InformationGeek on May 09, 2009, 02:35:57 PM
This had to be one of the rarest films out there.  It is nearly impossible to find and when it does show up, it's way too expensive.  Since I didn't want to put down almost 100 dollars for it or buy an illegal bootleg copy, I resorted to using YouTube to watch this movie.  It may have not been the best qualitly, but it is sadly the only way I can see it.  On the subject of the movie, it was very interesting and it kept my attention, but unfortantely, my mind wandered often during the film.  Just enjoy the review.

Also, my site has Cool World's review is up on it as well.  That movie was my 20th review up on the site and this movie became my 25th review overall.  Anyways, the next review is the movie with some of the worst special effects I've seen in a while, Beware!  The Blob.

I loved this movie.  Another forgotten gem we may never see get the proper dvd treatment.

I've been trying to advertise for this movie for years; it is one of my favorites, though I only own an old VHS copy of it. The two directors have been feuding over it since its release, so it is unlikely we will ever see a dvd release. There was a "dirty" version on HBO (I think it was mainly Scuzzbopper and Synonamess Botch saying more dirty words) that one director wanted released, while the other wanted a "clean" version released. The VHS is supposedly the "clean" version. Until one of the directors dies, we won't get a new release; neither will grant the other permission to release the film. It's a shame, because it really is a wonderful movie.
