QuoteThere is no brain left in the ant, and the ant just starts wandering aimlessly. This wandering stage goes on for about two weeks

For some reason, the image of teenagers with cell phones just popped into my head.

I work for the University of Arkansas Extension Service and I've known about these flies for a few years. They've experimented with them here.

Fire ants are a pain in the butt or anywhere else they bite you.  They get into air conditioning units and short them out a lot.

I take a bit of offense to what you said.  Not all of us are like that.

Anyways, interesting article.  I'm surprised there is no B-movie about something like this somewhere out there.

Just wait. It'll be a movie on The Sci Fi Channel before you know it.

Can Anonio Sabato, Jr. and Lorenzo Lamas defeat the killer horde of zombie ants created by evil scientists Lance Henriksen and Jeffery Combs?
