Title: James Bryan: Most Underrated Bad Movie Director Of All Time
Post by: hellbilly on May 27, 2009, 07:38:19 AM
I had the pleasure of watching Lady Street Fighter (1985) yesterday and I'm still reeling from cheese overload inflicted by Director James Bryan. Don't you just love the cover art?

The movie is exactly all that ... and more. So much more. Renee Harmon plays Agent Linda on a mission to avenge the death of her beloved sister. In order to punish the bad guys Linda lures potential suspects with saucy phone sex, including silent licking of the receiver! Linda also enjoys arousing men at a freaky party with a celery stalk. Has to be seen to be believed. Lady Street Fighter offers even more unintended hilarity by the minute, and is a must own for bad cinema lovers.

James Bryan's other work include his infamous Don't Go In The Woods (1981)

and Executioner, Part II (1984) - a criminally overlooked sizzling gem of urbanite action. I'm dying to see Hell Riders (1984) but that one is kind of hard to track down. Opinions?

Never can go wrong with Adam West. He was actually decent in One Dark Night (1983) and kind of funny in the rather dull Maxim Xul (1991).
