Wtf-Film's reviews from the past week are:
TERMINATOR SALVATION [2009] McG (http://www.wtf-film.com/ARTICLE.shtml?MAY_2009/TERMINATOR.html)
". . . gets the mix between stupid scripting and explosive action pretty much right, and even the multitude of plot holes and a poorly devised heartstrings-pulling ending weren't enough to keep me from being entertained."
THE LAST SHARK [1981] Enzo G. Castellari (http://www.wtf-film.com/ARTICLE.shtml?MAY_2009/LAST.html)
"The story is par for the course for a JAWS cash-in - a sea-side town on the East coast of the United States is preparing for a big tourist-attracting event [here a windsurfing race] when it is invaded by a great white shark. Political guys keep the mounting shark attacks hush-hush and let the big tourist-attracting event go as planned, with disastrous results, and are forced to hire professionals to hunt and kill the offending fish."
VIRUS [1980] Kinji Fukasaku (http://www.wtf-film.com/ARTICLE.shtml?MAY_2009/VIRUS.html)
"After the unwitting release of the top secret US bio-weapon MM-88, a genetically engineered monster that destroys the immune system of its victims and causes them to succumb to every disease imaginable, fewer than a thousand people are left alive."

That's a really good review of Virus. Wish I'd known about the disparity in run-times on this as I did actually have that Sony Chiba set in my hands, once, but wasn't sure if it was worth getting. Too late now. :hatred:
Ah well.
